The OCA is a voluntary, non-profit organization that is devoted to maintaining high standards for organized camps, and to sharing information and ideas that maintain these standards.

Camps belonging to the OCA adhere to over 400 seperate standards dealing with all aspects of a camp's operations, including: health and safety, leadership, staffing, training, programming, and administration.

Whitchurch Summer Riding Camp is a fully accredited member of the OCA.
